Job Description

CMH Mazda & Volvo Menlyn is seeking a professional, customer-focused, and enthusiastic Service Advisor to join our dynamic aftersales team. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop, ensuring an exceptional service experience while maintaining the high standards associated with both Mazda and Volvo. The Service Advisor will be responsible for accurately assessing customer needs, preparing job cards, communicating repair progress, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry.
  • Experience with premium or alternative premium brands will be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong administrative and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of vehicle servicing, maintenance, and warranty processes.
  • Computer literacy and experience with dealership management systems.
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
  • Valid South African driver's licence.
  • Matric certificate (Grade 12) is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide a professional and welcoming service experience.
  • Accurately prepare repair orders and job cards.
  • Obtain customer authorization for repairs and additional work required.
  • Liaise between customers and workshop technicians regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Provide regular updates to customers on vehicle progress and completion times.
  • Ensure all warranty and service documentation is completed accurately.
  • Promote value-added services and maintenance plans where applicable.
  • Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Achieve customer satisfaction and retention targets.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with manufacturer and dealership standards.
