Job Description
CMH Honda and MG Pinetown are looking for an experienced, driven and customer-focused Finance & Insurance Manager to join our dealership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete Finance & Insurance (F&I) process, from structuring customer finance and insurance solutions through to finalizing documentation and ensuring all transactions comply with regulatory and company requirements. This is a dealer-floor position requiring a strong understanding of vehicle sales, finance, insurance products and the automotive retail environment.

Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 – essential.
- Diploma or Degree in one of the following or a related field: B.Com Marketing B.Com Commerce Sales / Business Management
- Related commercial qualification.
- Retail Insurance Qualification – essential.
- RE5 (Representative Examination) – essential.
- Class of Business – relevant to the position.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working on a motor dealership floor, specifically within an F&I environment.
- Proven experience in vehicle finance and insurance within a dealership environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the complete Finance & Insurance process for vehicle sales.
- Prepare and present finance and insurance solutions to customers.
- Structure finance applications and submit deals to relevant financial institutions.
- Negotiate and secure competitive finance terms and solutions for customers.
- Promote and sell approved value-added products, warranties, service plans, maintenance plans and insurance products.
- Ensure all F&I products and services are presented accurately and professionally.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, banks, finance houses, insurers and other business partners.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with the National Credit Act (NCA), Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) requirements and other applicable legislation.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all deals are processed efficiently and within required timeframes.
- Work closely with the Vehicle Sales team to maximise finance penetration and F&I profitability.
- Provide regular feedback and reporting on F&I performance and departmental targets.
- Monitor outstanding documentation and ensure deals are concluded and paid out timeously.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales and finance process.
- Identify opportunities to improve F&I processes, profitability and customer experience.
- Maintain professional standards and protect the dealership's reputation and compliance standards.
