Requirements
- Qualified Motor Mechanic with trade certificate.
- Diagnostic Technician certification (manufacturer certification advantageous).
- Minimum 3–5 years of workshop experience.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
- Experience using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer software.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics using specialized diagnostic tools and software.
- Identify and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults.
- Conduct inspections and road tests to verify customer concerns.
- Repair and maintain engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension, and electrical components.
- Update vehicle software and perform system calibrations where required.
- Complete job cards and service reports accurately.
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Work closely with service advisors and workshop management to provide accurate repair information.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
