Job Description

Responsible for receiving, checking, storing, controlling and issuing automotive parts accurately. The role maintains correct stock records, supports the workshop and customers, and ensures the parts store remains organized, secure and compliant with safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous parts, warehouse or stock-control experience
  • automotive experience is advantageous.
  • Basic computer literacy and inventory-system knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle parts safely and work effectively in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect parts against orders and delivery notes.
  • Label, store, pick, issue and dispatch parts correctly.
  • Capture stock movements and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with stock take and report shortages, damage or variances.
  • Keep the storeroom clean, orderly and secure.
  • Support workshop personnel and respond to parts queries promptly.
