Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Parts Sales Manager to join our team Managing GWM and Suzuki Multi-Franchise Parts Department in Silver Lakes. The successful candidate must have strong previous Parts Department experience, excellent leadership abilities, a passion for customer service, and the drive to grow and develop the department to the next level.
We require a hands-on individual who takes ownership, accepts responsibility, is target driven, and has the ability to lead a team while achieving departmental objectives.

Requirements
- Previous Parts Management / Senior Parts Sales experience essential.
- Experience within a motor dealership environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts operations and processes.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and improving department performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Strong computer literacy and administration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be self-motivated, target driven, and results orientated.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Matric Certificate.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Parts Department.
- Drive parts sales growth and achieve monthly departmental targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve department performance and profitability.
- Ensure excellent customer service levels are maintained with internal and external customers.
- Manage, motivate, coach, and develop Parts Department staff.
- Monitor stock levels, ordering processes, and ensure optimal stock availability.
- Control stock holding, inventory accuracy, and reduce obsolescence.
- Ensure effective management of supplier relationships and dealer network requirements.
- Work closely with the Service Department and Workshop to ensure efficient parts availability and customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales through retail, wholesale, and workshop channels.
- Ensure correct pricing structures, margins, and profitability are maintained.
- Monitor and manage outstanding orders, backorders, and customer queries.
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards and dealership processes.
- Provide regular reporting on department performance, sales results, and opportunities for improvement.
- Take full accountability and ownership of the Parts Department’s performance and results.
