Unendorsed code 08/EB or C10 driver’s license.
Proficient in English (speak, read, write).
An in-depth understanding of different plastic types e.g. PP, TPO, ABS, and knowledge of which specific adhesives and welding temperatures are required for each material.
Proven experience as an automotive flatter, prepper or polisher, in an accredited panel shop.
Matric or equivalent.
Work outside normal working hours when required.
Submit to a criminal check.
Incumbent must be able to write neatly and clearly.

Provide exceptional customer service at every opportunity.
Surface Preparation for all identified vehicles.
Masking and protecting the relevant areas from any overspray.
Complete any required post-paint finishings.
Inspect body repairs to ensure they meet exact quality standards before proceeding to the spray painting and reassembly stages.
Perform all tasks efficiently to meet tight workshop deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Stripping & assembly of accident damaged vehicles.
Plastic Repairs using specialized techniques and auto body fillers, including plastic welding, stapling, and thermal reshaping.
Collecting spares, as required.
Cleaning of workplace after jobs are completed.
General panel shop duties and responsibilities.
Multi-tasking in all departments of the panel shop.
Adherence to the company policies and procedures.
Maintain the corporate image of the organization.
