Job Description
The Fleet and Truck Sales are responsible for developing, managing, and growing the fleet sales performance within an assigned region on behalf of the OEM. This role focuses on managing fleet relationships across government, corporate, rental, and key account customers, while supporting and enabling the dealer network to successfully retail and deliver fleet volumes.
The Fleet and Truck Salesperson acts as the link between the branch and fleet customers, ensuring alignment to fleet strategy, pricing structures, compliance, volume targets, and brand standards. The role is both strategic and operational, with a strong emphasis on volume growth, dealer enablement, and stakeholder management.

Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Valid driver’s licence.
- 5+ years’ experience in automotive fleet or truck sales, OEM sales operations, or regional sales management.
- Proven experience working within an OEM or large dealer group environment.
- Strong understanding of fleet channels, tender processes, and dealer operations.
- Experience managing regional territories and dealer networks.

Responsibilities
- Fleet Sales Strategy & Performance
- Proactively generate new business. Manage full sales cycle.
- Achieve regional fleet sales targets (volume, mix, and model focus).
- Identify and develop new fleet opportunities across corporate, government, rental, and SME sectors
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and fleet pricing dynamics.

Dealer Network Management
- Support, guide, and enable the dealer network on fleet sales execution.
- Ensure dealers are compliant with OEM fleet processes, pricing approvals, and reporting requirements.
- Assist dealers with fleet tenders, large deals, and key account negotiations.
- Drive consistent fleet standards and best practices across the region.
- Key Account & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regional and national fleet customers.
- Act as the primary OEM contact for strategic fleet accounts within the region.
- Support national fleet agreements and ensure correct regional execution.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including Sales, Finance, Logistics, Product, and Marketing.

Pricing, Tenders & Governance
- Manage fleet pricing requests in line with OEM governance and approval frameworks.
- Support dealer and OEM participation in fleet tenders and RFPs.
- Ensure margin protection while remaining competitive in the fleet market.
- Enforce fleet deal compliance, audit requirements, and reporting accuracy.

Operational Support & Delivery
- Coordinate vehicle availability, allocations, and lead times with internal planning teams.
- Monitor order-to-delivery performance for fleet and truck deals.
- Support resolution of delivery, specification, or post-sale escalations.
- Ensure correct vehicle specification alignment to fleet customer requirements.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Track and report on regional fleet or truck performance, pipeline, and forecasts.
- Analyse fleet or truck volumes, model mix, pricing effectiveness, and dealer performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
